Let the light pierce through the darkness Close all old accounts, turn a new leaf Re-learn that old lesson of friendship Kill nor be killed, settle for lessening Amidst us of this fossilized hatred
Babsy

Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
Rest in Peace, Wildy
Yesterday, as my family excitedly waiting for the Pacquiao fight, I searched the net for ways to watch it live. Someone posted on twitter, “Pacman won on round 9 by K.O.” and that message was shared to my family. However, my cousin in Manila who is also awaiting, knew it was not true because she is already watching live and the fight has not started yet. Then she mentioned that her guy best friend in college died. I was sad to hear such bad news, especially her batch was like my friends as well – and I was known to them as “Babsy.” She mentioned the name Wildy, but I have forgotten who he was, until I saw the news this afternoon of a teacher, robbed and killed. It was Wildy! I remembered him now, a good man and one of the few male batch-mates of my cousin whom I could remember the name, back during college days.
I am sad that there are heartless people in this world, who could do such a thing to a good person like Wildy. JUSTICE FOR WILDY!
Rest in Peace, Good Man. You’ll surely be missed.
Roxas 3 Day Adventure
I was happy when my friends invited me to join them on a trip to Roxas for the Western Visayas Tourism Assembly. I have never been to such event. Imagine, to see different festivals in one point.
First day of our trip. My friends and I met at Andoks near Jaro plaza because they have a parking space there and it is open when I arrived there at 6 AM, also because there is a pharmacy nearby, so I bought medicines for traveling (I wasn’t feeling well that morning). It is always best to bring medicine for headache, fever and LBM.
When my friends arrived, we immediately started our journey to Roxas. From Jaro Plaza to Roxas City, it took us 2 hours and 30 minutes drive. We then explored Roxas by going to Villareal Stadium in where the event will be held that afternoon. We were like paparazzi when we started documenting, because we take pictures now and then. More of my experience on my Palaboy-laboy Blog: Day 1 – Western Visayas Tourism Assembly 2009, Day 2 and Day 3.
Here are some of my pictures.
Also, we were featured on Capiz blog.
Here are some shameless shots taken by my friends.

Different Ways of Dealing With Things
My Mom and I have a very different attitude. She’s been with me for the 27 years of my life and we haven’t been apart for more than a week, but still we see things differently. Maybe that is because she let me live a life that she hasn’t and this is the same thing I am doing with my children, with a thing in mind: That they grow up to be a better person than I am or the best person that they could be.
So, from a meeting with Iloilo Bloggers at Kopi Roti, I went home and found out that my necklace and my Mom’s watch were missing on where I usually put it. I was cleaning my face when my Mom entered the room. I asked her if she had kept it, and she said no. She then panicked and go shouting and checking it everywhere in a chaotic way. I was scared that it might be gone forever or someone took it, but still I was relaxed. I just told her don’t worry about it, I will be checking every corner of the house to look for it tomorrow.
I hope I would find it.
Congrats Rina and Athan
Today, I went to the wedding of my friends Rina and Athan. Rina and I knew each other from chat. There were 3 of us who used to chat with each other about our boyfriends; Me, Rina and Pebbles.
Anyway, lets fast-forward to the wedding day. I am in the church with my cam as I plan to document the wedding. So here’s me before the wedding ceremony starts.
Athan walks down the isle.

At last, Rina is here, walking the isle with a smile.
Exchange kisses with the parents.
Time to face the priest.
I really liked the way the priest told the love story of Rina and Athan, so I took this picture.
This is the blessing time with parents and sponsors.
The newly weds.

I just had a pic with Rina at the reception, because during this time Athan is out to get women – just kidding – Athan was inviting the females to go catch the bouquet.
Congratulations Rina and Athan!

Green Mango Restaurant in Iloilo
Last September 29, 2009, Iloilo Bloggers had a meeting with Janette Toral, Aileen Apolo and Jay De Jesus at Green Mango.
We chose to meet on this particular restaurant because they have a space for special meetings such as the ones we (Iloilo Bloggers) had. The main restaurant area is well planned and I just can’t resist to admire the decorations. The different seat designs made for different kinds of people which surely made this restaurant comfortable for me.
We enjoyed the food we ordered and had a great time interacting with each other. I remembered my first time visiting this place was with my family and my Mom just loved it immediately; with a delicious meal that fits into the budget, it would be a restaurant that surely Moms would love.
The Green Mango is located at Valeria street, near SM Delgado, in front of Ace Hardware and Max Restaurant. On its side is Coffee Break, where we went after our meeting. Bloggers introduced Coffee Break to the Luzon bloggers as “The Starbucks of Iloilo,” which Aileen had mentioned on her talk that same day for IT Week 2009 celebration at Robinsons Iloilo.
Pete Solis Nery Book Launch
Yesterday, I was invited to attend a book launch. It was my first time to attend such event. Anyway, I was with my fellow bloggers, and here are some pics of me on the event.
Meeting with Iloilo Bloggers Again
Yesterday was the second meeting of Iloilo Bloggers. I really enjoy the company of these guys. It’s fun being with them.
I have been offered to pose nude LOL … that was not the first time! Anyway, I have accepted the first offer, but haven’t done it yet (it’s for mi amore), so I guess this request I have to turn down – for now, that is. ROFL ‘coz I don’t know what I’ll be doing in the future, so I am not closing any doors – who knows, I might be a model – RIGHT?
After the meeting, a few of us went to Cilantro for the said opening, had a few FREE drinks there. Though it rained, I really like being with the bloggers.
First Official Meeting of Iloilo Bloggers
Today, the Iloilo Bloggers had a first official meeting, and it was a success. All the goals met and I enjoyed it.
As expected only a few showed up, but those ones that are trustworthy. Here are our pics (just the ones with me of course):
And here is Jane, serving us with food … aaawww Thanks Jane:

(Sorry, only Jane’s hand was shown … those hardworking hands)
Here’s more:

Junelle and Jun in the dark. Nice background eh?
Wait … What??? Let me look at that again …
JUN … You (M)! Can’t get enough of those girls in Villa Rosa Fotoshoot huh? Can’t blame ya … my curves are sexy
BWAHAHAHAHA
PS: If you don’t know me … don’t judge me …
So if you have nothing good to say – JUST SHUT UP!
EJ Baptismal and Friends Meet
My cousins love to make me Ninang (Godmother) of their children, and Edgar is not an exemption. It took them years to have a baby and they have been trying ever since they were married. I don’t know how long, but I guess about 3 years. So, when they finally had one, they choose me to be one of the Godparent. I think for them, me having 2 biological children is not enough, they wanted me to have more in the name of God.
I guess the main thing of choosing a Godparent, is that you should know the person very well to the point that you could trust them with your child’s life. This is what I believe, and therefore I can’t understand some people to let me be the Godparent of their child without even knowing me fully.
Anyway, here are some of the pics taken before and after the baptismal. More at Junelle’s Photos.
After the baptismal, we ate at my cousins house. It was good seeing the family all together again.
Then I met with my friends that afternoon. Had fun time. It’s different when you are with your friends.
As you could see, no guys
It’s a girls day out. Two of those girls are married and the rest are single – no BF as what they tell me. You might ask where I am in that pic? At the back of the camera of course
Oh! By the way, last Saturday I was in Bacolod to attend a bloggers event. Check my DigitalFilipino Bloggers event in Bacolod post at Pinay SEO.
