I am not an Animal Lover, SO WHAT?

Okay, days ago there was an issue about a boy who killed a cat and have fun in doing it. People plurk about it, especially those Cat or Animal lovers. I aired my opinion, that for me it is nonsense and it is such a small issue. I live in Iloilo, and often the road from home to work is filled with dead cats. I was not the one who killed them, but obviously, most drivers here just don’t care about those animals.

So, the so-called animal lovers reacted gravely with the opinion I have given. Saying that it’s stupid. OKAY, so I get it people have different opinions. I respected it and left you to discuss it on your own because it was obvious that you don’t welcome opinions other than that of “oh the cat is cute, and that is such a stupid boy.”

I left the conversation, because they were getting too personal already. As a parent, I discipline my child. At one point, I blogged about shouting at my daughter because I couldn’t control my temper. I guess it is just normal for a mother to have these kind of episodes in their life. The animal lover made a big deal out of it, and say that I should know better; I should control my emotions when dealing with a kids tantrum. GOT IT, lesson learned!

There are a lot of things happening into my life other than that CAT issue. THAT in fact is just one minute issue that should have passed. I plurked “I am traumatized by UGLY people.” WOW, and those cat lovers thinks that it is again about them. HELLOOO … when will you stop? I LEFT the plurk conversation you were having, simply because I don’t want anything to do with it. It’s obvious you are not an open minded people!

Today, I opened my blog and was shocked to see comments coming from Cat lover. Aren’t you done? What do you want from me, to be pissed? Coz, you were not able to have that satisfaction because I was calm enough to admit I AM STUPID, I AM UGLY, or whatever you say I AM. IT IS UP TO YOU… BUT NOW YOU INSULT MY DAUGHTER? YOU WANT ME TO BE PISSED? I AM PISSED!

What makes you think you are a better person than that of the one who killed the cat? The boy just killed a cat, and I care more of him because I know he has problems and he needs a tender loving care. YOU obviously have some problems of your own. PLEASE ENOUGH! I KNOW YOU CARE ABOUT ANIMALS, AND OBVIOUSLY YOU CARE LESS ABOUT PEOPLE! I just happen to feel differently, I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE MORE THAN I CARE ABOUT ANIMALS. I would rather think of the hungry children in Africa, than think of how many cats were killed by someone else. You should digg deeper. A person does things with a reason, and I feel for you for doing this to me. I feel for the boy for doing it to the cat. I hope you will be awaken and embrace that you, HAVE PROBLEMS that needs a professional help.

FYI: I don’t kill cats, and I don’t think I have killed one yet.

some facts may tell us that she(blogger) may have an issue of not caring much for the animals. more of the fact posing pictures in the net which can be criticized. but this topic doesn't involved her personal life that includes her children. YOU guys or gals are exploiting your fellow and much more the children. For God's sake leave the children alone out of the topic. Those people who reacted to the incident have their own opinion, and as what Clair said, it is a matter of perspective. Whoever said that people who care more about cats have lesser for human beings is simply not true. God gave men higher intelligence to care for those who have less, like animals. They can't speak our language, yes, but do we speak theirs? They have feelings too, right? I mean, break their leg and see them writhe in pain. Animals are not stupid, we just don't understand them.

If we humans, who are supposed to take care of them, abuse animals simply because they are less of a creature than us, then what that makes us then? Predators kill for food and survival, that kid killed for fun. Psycho killers kill for their own entertainment.

I think what got you flamed for your opinion is by saying in the forum/topic that you don't care, but obviously everyone else does.

As for those who are criticizing your photos, if you don't want to be criticized, don't post it on the Internet. You do it, get ready to be flamed. You can't tell people what you want them to say about you, people will tell you what they want to say whether you like or not. Deal with it.

I KNOW that what the boy did was bad, but its not reason enough for people to torture him. He needs help, that I acknowledge.
The point here is I don't like animals the way you do ... and would certainly not, because look at you ... insulting a fellow human being for the sake of a lesser being?

good day...hello "The cat lover" I'm an animal lover too. Same as you are, I do care to all animals but the most important thing I am sensitive to my fellow human feelings. Please try to think deeper, you might love cats who was killed by a boy. But that doesn't mean you can insult somebody just like that. You're already hitting below the belt. try to respect their opinion and don't go beyond other people lives. So what if she has two children as long as she take care of them and raise them in a decent manner without stepping to others feet. Don't just judge people of the way how they become but on the way how they learned and stood up. I don't want to tagged you because it seemed you looked so clean and decent but you words makes the worst out of you. insulting the child being ugly and has ugly nose. So what's you're problem with that? she could have a good heart. I don't usually answer blogs but it seems i need too coz of a bitter person like YOU. Reflect and be sensitive to others feeling. It really depends on that situation but still no should judge a child because he or doesn't really know what he or she is doing because they still lack guidance from their parents and other adults who are more responsible. We sympathize with the CAT but still it's not the child's fault. People should always who both sides of every story before giving out any opinions regarding this matter.

I happen to love cats so that kid who brutally killed one was something that upset me. However, I don't think that people would like to come across as ones who care more about cats than other human beings. Again, it's a matter of perspective. If others would say that they love cats more than people, that is something that would potentially offend them too. Because they probably care about the kid's psychological well-being too. At least I feel that the kid needs help and it's bad that he had to let out his aggression on that kitten.

About how people react about your blog and pictures, that's life. Anything you post online can be criticized by anyone, anytime. Even if you think you look decent you could look terrible to others. Subjective na kasi yan. Chill and maybe just learn to deal with them?
