First Ride of Public Transportation for 2009

I have been the driver of my family during the Holidays, even if I lost my license and that technically I am driving without a license.

Today, was the first of me going back to the office for 2009. So far, everything went well during the office hours. I have given my gift to people I admire for being hardworking. Before I knew it, office was over and I have to ride a public jeepney going home.

In a jeep I have encountered being in an awkward situation. I know I am a big person, but I use my space respectfully while I am in public spaces, especially on public transportation such as jeep. However, the old man beside me doesn’t. I don’t want to be rude to him because he is an old man, but I was really uncomfortable being beside him. You may be asking why? It is because the jeep is crowded and here he is sitting on a slant position! Of course being slant means he may be occupying his space from his buttocks down but his body is occupying half of my upper space. I am a BIG woman and I sit properly. So, just to get out of that awkward situation, I let the old man have his slant sitting then I crouch to let him have all my upper space even lean on my back if he wills.

I was pissed, but I was calm and I have not eaten this evening, which means I have my diet today.

Happy 2009 Three Kings

It’s the first sunday of the year and we attended a mass. After the mass, we went to a mall and my daughter enjoyed playing in the arcades and getting tickets.

I am currently watching American Idol.

Oh, and my diet plan is not working out … I need to control myself! Anyway, I have a back-up plan, if I can’t control by the end of the month, I would be taking pills.

I have to rest now and prepare to go to work. It is going to be a first day of work for 2009. I hope everything will work out fine.

Diet was Broken for the 2nd Time

I ate a lot this evening after receiving a text message from someone. My Mom and I is somewhat pissed on the message and she let me ruined my diet by eating 5 slices of ham that she cooked and a bread pudding that she made.

Though diet is ruined, I still love my body and have lots of plans to beautify it.

A Lunch with My Cousins Family

My cousin Lefsion arrived yesterday from working in the USA as a seaman. His wife invited us to have lunch together at Ocean City. I ate a lot but still I have my diet because I haven’t eaten this evening.

So, after lunch we went to a Mall, at SM City. The kids enjoyed by having the “rides all you can” bracelet.

I then went window shopping with my kids, but before that, my daughter keeps on asking me to buy her a cotton candy and ice cream. I didn’t buy her those because our Pediatrician wants her to go on diet; no sweets, pork and chicken for her. I went into a dress shop looking for something that would fit me, then I noticed that my bag was opened. I took a clothing and went to the cashier to pay for it. It costs Php 499 and I know I have Php 500 on my bag, but on the cashier I didn’t find the Php 500 on my bag, so I used my emergency money to pay for the clothing I bought. I then went out of the shop and there I saw my daughter buying 2 doughnuts. I asked our helper if it was her money that she used to pay for the doughnut, she told me it wasn’t her money and she showed me the Php 500 that was missing on my bag. I asked her where did she get the money, she told me that she saw my daughter paying for the two doughnut with a Php 700.

So, I asked my daughter, “Hannah, did you take that money on Mommy’s bag?”

She answered, “Yes, I just borrowed it Mommy.”

Up to now, I can’t imagine how my daughter took that money on my wallet that I didn’t notice. Of course I told her not to do it again and if she wants something, she should ask me to buy it for her and not she would buy it for herself.

Scary what my daughter would do, just to have something she wanted.

I know she did it because she keeps on asking me to buy cotton candy and ice cream but I didn’t buy those. So, she had it her way and bought her a doughnut.

Our Pedia used to give her vitamins that would make her fat, but now, she keeps on telling us that my daughter should go on diet. My new years resolution would be going on a diet, so I will be joining my daugter to keeping ourselves healthy.
