Let the light pierce through the darkness Close all old accounts, turn a new leaf Re-learn that old lesson of friendship Kill nor be killed, settle for lessening Amidst us of this fossilized hatred
Babsy
is my nickname
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
Thank You Lolo Mauring
I just knew yesterday that my Lolo Mauring died. Then today, he was burried and I just knew it. Tomorrow, we will go to his place and say good bye to him. It’s never too late.
Who is Lolo Mauring?
He is what we call a “witch doctor” in our dialect, its “surwano” (however it spells). He helped my parents to have me. My parents had a hard time trying to have a baby and they went to all the doctors and surwano’s they know and it was with Lolo Mauring that they had a good luck and they had me.
We often go to Lolo Mauring when someone in the family gets sick. The thing I could not forget is those medicines he uses. We would cover our body with the juice of those mixed leaves and it works.
Thank You Lolo Mauring, for everything! Rest in Peace!
